Harvard-Fellowship Trained in Interventional Spine and Pain

Who We Are
Dr. Conor Sperzel completed fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and brings a rehabilitation focused approach to every patient encounter.
Conditions We Treat
Many patients come to us after living with chronic pain for months or years. We treat conditions that affect the spine, joints, and nervous system, with a focus on identifying the source of your pain and developing a clear path forward.
Chronic pain is rarely simple. We take a thorough approach to evaluation, using advanced imaging and diagnostic techniques to understand exactly what is causing your symptoms.
From there, we develop a treatment plan tailored to your goals. Whether these are returning to golf or tennis, or simply sleeping through the night or walking without discomfort – We listen carefully and build a plan that reflects what matters most to you.
Our goal is not only reduce pain but also restore function and help you return to the activities that give your life meaning.
Procedures Built on Precision
Our Approach to Treatment
Every procedure we perform is image-guided using fluoroscopy or ultrasound, allowing Dr. Sperzel to deliver precise treatment in real time. This ensures medication or therapy reaches exactly where it is needed, improving outcomes and minimizing discomfort.
We offer a comprehensive range of interventional treatments for spine and musculoskeletal pain. This includes epidural steroid injections for back/neck or sciatica pain, radiofrequency ablation for facet joint conditions, and sacroiliac joint injections for lower back and buttock pain.
For patients with joint pain or peripheral nerve conditions, we provide targeted injections or nerve blocks tailored to the specific source of symptoms. We also offer Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), a regenerative medicine technique which utilizes your body’s own, natural healing factors to stimulate targeted restoration and pain relief.
Advanced options such as spinal cord stimulation and peripheral nerve stimulation are available for those with chronic pain that has not responded to other treatments.
Each treatment plan is developed based on your diagnosis, your goals, and the best available evidence. We take time to explain your options clearly so you can make informed decisions about your care.
